Meet-up/networking event at the Iceland Ocean Cluster: This pre-event will give people the opportunity to meet other attendees to the event. This event also gives people the opportunity to form teams with others, so we highly recommend this event if you don’t have a team yet or are looking to add more people to their teams. You will also get the opportunity to meet the organisers and mentors ask any question that they have regarding the hackathon. See FB event here!
Friday, September 15th
6:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Opening session: Bala Kamallakharan will welcome all attendees to the hackathon and give an opening speech at Reykjavik University (room M201). Bala will talk about ideation and how to start a startup.
6.30 pm – 9:00 pm
Work begins: Teams will start working on their ideas and mentors will offer their advice.
Saturday, September 16th
9:00 am – 9:00 pm
The Hackathon continues, mentors will assist teams with working on their ideas.
13:00 pm
Pitch workshop: Haukur Gudjonsson will teach teams how to do the perfect pitch.
Sunday, September 17th
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Pitch session: All teams pitch the ideas they have been working on in front of a panel of judges.
5:00 pm
Award Ceremony: The winners of the hackathon will be announced.
Startup Iceland Camp
