Where can i find team mates?
Every team that attends need to have at least 3 people in it, we recommend having at least one programer, one designer and one business person in each team. If you are looking to form a team you can see an ad on our website where other people are also looking for teammates, you can also contact us directly. We will also host a meet up event the week before the event
DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE OR EDUCATION TO BE A PART OF THIS?
No, there is no requirements for any education or work experience to attend this event.
Do I need a kennitala to participate?
No, you are not required to show any documents when registering for this event.
For whom is this event?
This event is for anybody who is interested in building a new idea and is seeking knowledge, networking and financing.
What are the language requirements for participants?
The language requirements we have is that only one person in the team needs to be able to present the project in english. We will also have Ukrainian-English interpreters during this event.
What can I do with the prize money?
Once the prize money is transferred to you, you can do what ever you want with it.
How many people per team?
At least three people per team. We recommend having at least one designer, one programer and one business person per team. Teams should have more than 7 people in them.
What is Startup Iceland?
Startup Iceland is a non-profit organisation based in Reykjavík. Its a media, event and networking organisation. The goal of Startup Iceland, is to support founders in the Icelandic startup community.
Can people attend via Zoom or Teams?
The event will not be streamed online, but if there are some teammates that want to attend via Zoom or Teams that is okay. We only need one team member to be physically present at the event.
What do I need to bring to the event?
The only thing we recommend people to bring to the event is a computer to work on.
